Imua ʻIolani

Skye B.
I decided to join ‘Imua in 8th grade because it was the only available writing elective, and the semester long flexibility was something that I valued. I tried to spread out my interests, choosing robotics, a more science oriented class, and newsroom, which would allow me to utilize the right side of my brain. I entered ‘Iolani as a 7th grader and this is my second year in Imua. In class, I hope to improve my political writing, picture taking, and strengthen my writing “voice.” Outside of Imua, I figure skate, swim, participate in Science Olympiad, Slam Poetry, Bake a Wish, and Figure Skating Club.
