Hi! My name is Phoebe Hirashima and I’m a sophomore at ‘Iolani School. This is my third year
in Imua Newsroom, but my first as a copy editor. I tend to lean towards reading and writing
articles about national news or media and fashion, but most importantly, I love everything
editorial and opinionated. Outside of the newsroom, I love to hang out with my friends and
explore new food spots and beaches with them. I also love to listen to music; my favorite artists
are Noah Kahan and Omar Apollo. I’m psyched to write more articles and celebrate Imua’s
100th volume with the ‘Iolani community!
