Aloha! Bonjour! こんにちは！Hello! My name is Maia, and I am a junior working as a journalist for IMUA for the first time. I am so fortunate to begin writing as part of the IMUA Staff, for I cannot wait to learn more about the diversity within our community and see the world from new perspectives through meeting new people. I had collaborated with the talented Yearbook Staff in my freshman year, which is when I developed a passion for writing stories and shedding light on unique individuals. As I continued to write, I realized how much I love connecting with others through language to convey their stories and give them a voice. A little fun fact about me is that I love murder mysteries shows as well as cheesy rom coms!
