Aloha! My name is Peter H, a staffer who just joined Imua. I have been particularly interested in discussion of history, politics, culture and satirical literature. I started online blogging on Chinese politics, history and western political philosophy in 2022 on Weibo. I have been vocal in pushing for education reforms, reducing corruption and student pressure in the public school system, oversight and reduction of bureaucrats, constructive relationships with western countries, and a pluralistic media environment where censorship is minimized. Since then, I became particularly interested in political journalism, and fascinated by how powerful social media, the most libertarian institution ever in human history, can be a weapon both defending and harming human conscience and social interest. I joined Imua to contribute my perspective as an international student studying in America, my views on American and international politics and school policies.
