Imua ‘Iolani’s print Editor-in-Chief Skye ’23 has been recognized by the Hawai‘i Scholastic Journalism Association (HSJA) as the 2023 Hawai‘i Student Journalist of the Year. As a feminist and LGBTQIA+ activist, Skye’s passion and aptitude for writing has allowed her to share with our community the important issues that affect identity in today’s society.
